Reader: Hops Dreams

Chicago Reader contributor Martha Bayne charts our progress with an article in this week's edition.

Dishin It

Still working on that loan closing. Hopefully we'll wrap it up in a couple days. While I wait I had time to talk with Chicago Magazine's Dish column about the project.

Trib: Brewpubs, craft beers thriving around Chicago

We get a mention in an article in Today's Trib about Chicago-area brewpubs with in-depth profiles of Moonshine, Flossmoor Station, Three Floyds and Crown Brewing headed by my old Goose-era friend Jim Cibak. The print version on the cover of the 'At Play' section had a great picture of Flossmoor's Andrew Mason shoveling out the mash tun.

Journal Entry

Local paper Chicago Journal reviews our progress with a recent article, Revolution With A Foamy Head. I think this qualifies as our first official press coverage and it makes sense to me that the small neighborhood rag got the scoop. While I miss the old peachy color and grand broadsheet format the Journal used to sport, they've been a welcome addition to the area. Now if only they would actually distribute their paper at businesses and drop boxes in Logan Square!
