Area Sales Representative
Revolution Brewing is seeking candidates for an entry-level Area Sales Representative to join our fast-growing company. This position will be located out of our offices at our 50 bbl production brewery in Chicago, IL.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for account level representation and growth of Revolution Brewing products within assigned territory. You must reside in one of the following counties to be eligible for one of these positions: DeKalb, DuPage, Kane or Kendall counties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: • Work to become the preferred supplier within both accounts and local distributors • Develop expertise on Revolution’s products in the market, as well as those of our competitors • Work 4.5 days per week in the market visiting on and off premise accounts. On average, 1 day per week will be spent traveling to other distributor areas outside of the core territory. ½ day per week will be spent in recap communication to Retailers/Distributors/Director of Sales • Schedule and work with distributors personnel minimally one day per week visiting accounts • Conduct samplings, promotions and trainings at bars and restaurants • Set up and represent at regional festivals • Conduct brewery visits for retailers
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications.
• High energy, motivated and successful person who has an outgoing personality • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and ability to work effectively with the Sales team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially using formulas in Excel • Must have a reliable car and be able to travel; overnight travel will be required of this position. • Must be able to work flexible hours as needed (including evenings and weekends) • Must be able to lift 35-pound cases, as well as maneuver and place 168-lb kegs • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Ability to adopt the Revolution Brewing voice in representing the brand

Revolution is hiring a Human Resource Manager to plan, manage, and coordinate the human resources management functions of our 160-person organization. This position will be located out of our offices at our production brewery in Chicago, IL.
Human Resources • Run bi-weekly company payrolls at both locations using outside vendor software. Troubleshoot all problems related to payroll. • Make labor cost reports to management as needed. • Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements. • Conduct new employee orientations. Ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans and enrollment procedures. • Assist employees in health insurance and benefit enrollments and act as liaison between employee and insurance providers to resolve benefit related problems. • Manage annual health insurance open enrollment period. Distribute materials from carriers and communicate changes to employees. • Provide advice and counsel on matters relating to policy and procedures, legal issues, employee performance, employee development, management communication styles, coaching and counseling employees, interpersonal skills, etc. • Ensure the company’s understanding and compliance with benefit and HR policies and regulations. Keep management advised of potential problem areas and recommend/implement solutions as appropriate. • Assist in hiring process by coordinating job posting on website, reviewing resumes, performing interviews and reference checks. • Write, revise and edit company policies & procedures as needed. • Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, vacation/sick time and employee review schedule. • Work with department managers to conduct reviews and evaluation of staff performance.
Safety • Provide general guidance, direction, advice and regulatory requirements in all areas of occupational safety and health. • Maintain OSHA and SDS documentation. • Participate in safety meetings. Advise management and employees on environmental safety and health regulations.

Revolution Brewing is currently seeking full and part-time hosts for our award-winning Logan Square brewpub. Ideal candidates must be outgoing, friendly, enthusiastic individuals with customer service experience in a high paced environment. Good communication skills and multi-tasking are a must.
Revolution Brewing has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Director of Brewery Operations. This position will be located out of our production brewery at 3340 N. Kedzie Ave. in Chicago, IL.
Description: The Brewery Operations Manager is a senior position and will be responsible for overseeing all production activities in the brewery including shipping and receiving while collaborating with other department heads to ensure timely production of our brand.
Responsibilities • Responsible for all scheduling of production team as well as hiring, training and development, performance reviews and discipline. • Provides leadership for the proper operation and maintenance of equipment while providing a safe, clean work environment. • Communicates on inventory management efforts ensuring quality in all areas with Head Brewer, BTC and Packaging Manager including raw materials, packaging and finished goods. • Maintains a safety first working environment for employees by maintaining facility and equipment in optimal working conditions while making sure all safety requirements are being met on the production floor. • Establishes S.O.P.’s for production floor. • Monitors cost variances and reports them to management. • Demonstrates interdepartmental coordination, strong written and verbal communication between departments on the production floor daily.
Required Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BA) from four-year college or university; four years of brewing or plant operations management experience. Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft software programs (word, excel) and ERP systems (such as SAP).
Other Requirements: Flexibility in scheduling as some evening, and weekend availability will be required. You will be expected to be on call 24/7 for brewery issues. Analytical thinking and the ability to make situational appropriate decisions based on available facts, brewing knowledge, and experience.
