TV Party and Jukebox-Hero Release

Date – August 8 Location — Tap Room, Brewpub  /  Chicago, IL
Time – All Day

Aug

8

We have a double beer release on Wednesday, August 8 at both Revolution locations: TV Party and Jukebox-Hero.

About TV Party:

Our Rye IPA is a very crisp and refreshing ale brewed with a very simple malt bill. 2-row, flaked rye (20 %) and Carared malt yields a clear golden ale with a silky mouth feel and subtle toasty/nutty undertones [ contributed by the flaked rye]. We used Warrior hops for bittering, along with Chinook and Amarillo in the brew kettle to kick up the citrus aroma we like. To mix it up a bit we dry-hopped this IPA with both Amarillo and English Fuggle hops to create a unique floral yet spicy hop aroma in the finished product. Very drinkable and balanced with a rather substantial ABV% for when you’ve got nothing better to do than watch TV and have a couple brews.

ABV: 7.2% IBU: 80. Draft-only.

About Jukebox-Hero:

Jukebox-Hero, named after the well-known rock song, is a black IPA is bursting with crisp, clean bitterness and layers of wonderful American hop character.

Pale Ale, Munich and Naked Golden Oats give a toasty malt backbone with a smooth mouthfeel. The dark ominous color comes from the Chocolate Malt and the de-husked highly roasted malt. We want the layers of hops to shine against this roasty malt backdrop. Warrior, Citra, Chinook, Centennial and Amarillo lend bitterness as well as a wonderful cornucopia of aromas and flavors of fresh citrus fruit, pine, fresh cut mint and fresh flowers they offer.

ABV: 7.8% IBU: 75. Draft-only.
