UPDATE: 3/18

Hi, everyone. We hope you’re all keeping busy, keeping healthy, and adjusting to the new situation here in Chicago. We closed both of our retail locations on Sunday, and have been evaluating things at Rev since then and continuing to pay our hard-working crew. Starting tomorrow, we’re ready to start offering curbside beer pickup service at our Taproom location only (3340 N. Kedzie). To make this work for everyone involved, we’ve decided on the following steps

  • Customers must order ahead through our webstore. Absolutely all transactions must take place online to ensure proper social distancing.
  • Pickup hours will run Wednesday through Sunday, 12 p.m.- 7 p.m. at 3340 N. Kedzie Ave. Call (773) 273-8851 when you arrive, give your name and vehicle make/model, and a member of the Rev Brew Crew will bring your beer directly to your car.
  • Revolution employees are working to keep producing beer, fulfill orders, and keep everyone involved safe and distant. If you’d like to tip them, you can choose to give cash when you pick up, or you can use the Rev Brew Crew Tip item on the webstore.

The Revolution Brewpub at 2323 N. Milwaukee will remain closed, and we highly encourage everyone to support our local restaurants still offering delivery or pickup and fighting to stay open.

Thanks and stay safe. Chicago has always been defined by resilient, determined people, and we’ll get through this as a community.

UPDATE, 3/15: We are suspending our retail operations at the Taproom and Brewpub until further notice. Pickup and delivery from our Pub is also suspended while we monitor the situation. We'll update here and on our social media channels when that changes. Thanks and stay safe.

The health and safety of our customers and employees is a top priority here at Revolution Brewing. Our first core value is “Respect People and Build Trust,” and we take that commitment very seriously. We’ve created guidelines for all of our employees on how to remain healthy and keep themselves, their families, and each of you safe. And we’d like to share a little bit about that plan here.

Rev’s Actions Toward Your Safety

How we’re keeping our employees and guests safe:

At the brewpub (2323 N. Milwaukee Ave.)

  • For customers worried about visiting, we’ll continue to offer food and beer delivery via Caviar and Grubhub -- including our entire Brewpub menu, packaged beers, crowlers, and barrel-aged beers.
  • Revolution provides paid time off to all employees, and are directing all employees who feel sick to stay home.
  • Condiments such as ketchup and hot sauce will be served in single-serve ramekins instead of reusable bottles for the foreseeable future. Malt vinegar bottles will be sanitized between uses.
  • Hosts will wipe down door handles every 15 min with a cleaner/sanitizer.
  • Food menus are now laminated, then cleaned and sanitized between uses.
  • Paper towels will be added to the restrooms to avoid the spread of germs by hand dryers.
  • We will be spraying down tables and chairs directly, rather than using a sanitation bucket.
  • Rev employees are required to wash hands after using their mobile phones, bussing tables, handling cash or credit cards, and handling any food or beverage.
  • Rev employees are required to wear gloves when handling any foods, beverages, or production materials.
  • We will increase the rate of sanitizing commonly used surfaces, such as POS stations, tablets, and counters.

at the taproom (3340 N. Kedzie Ave.)

  • We’ve installed additional hand sanitizer stations with products containing at least 70% alcohol throughout the Taproom and the Brewpub. Use as you feel necessary!
  • We’re increasing our disinfection efforts for high-touch surface areas and making previously reusable items, such as eye protection for our employees and tours, one-time-use products.
  • We will continue with scheduled tours this week, through Sunday, and honor cancellations as they come in. Beginning next week (3/16), we will be discontinuing tours until further notice. Customers can cancel at any time for a full refund of tour purchases.
  • The Taproom popcorn machine will be removed until further notice.
  • Beer menus are now laminated, then cleaned and sanitized between uses.
