Cat Herder

Trying to get brewers to work on something together is like... Cat Herder is an Illinois Golden Ale make with 100% Pilser malt, which give this brew its pale yellow hue, and hopped like an IPA with a single hop - Citra - for a big, juicy hop aroma and flavor, and a clean, lingering bitter finish. The beer is our offering as part of the Illinois Craft Brewers Build's Replicale project. Replicale 2013 is being made by 20 members of the ICBG, and all 20 versions of this Illinois Golden Ale will be showcased at the Oak Park Microbrew Review on Aug. 17.
