A black wheat ale fermented with a Belgian yeast strain. The use of red wheat and cara-wheat lends a bready, slightly sweet flavor profile while a newer malt variety, Midnight Wheat, adds a touch of roast malt character and a color as black as night. The Bastogne yeast strain used tops it off with a hint of spicy and fruity aromas with a moderately dry finish. This beer is smooth and sessionable.
