This American Strong Pale Ale was brewed to showcase a yet-to-be-named experimental hop variety grown by our friends at Hop Head Farms. Accordingly, we named the beer after a song from one of our favorite Michigan bands we listen to while brewing - the Koffin Kats! “Riding High” was chosen for the name, not only because it’s a great song, but it’s also the beginning of motorcycle season! This pale ale was brewer with 100% pale ale malt and hopped similarly to the old Iron Fist recipe – only with all of the experimental hop for flavor, aroma and dry-hopping in the fermenter.
