Since its initial launch in the Midwest in Chicago this past December, innovative food delivery service, Imperfect Produce, has saved 2.6 million pounds of produce in Chicago…and counting! On Thursday, July 26 join The Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile to celebrate Imperfect Produce’s milestone atop the hotel’s rooftop garden!
The mix and mingle event will feature creative small plates made with Imperfect’s produce along with vegetables and herbs grown on the hotel’s rooftop garden. The offerings will be expertly prepared by The Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile’s executive chef Frank Sanchez. Beverage offerings include Revolution Brewing beers, select wines from J Vineyards and a variety of craft cocktails. Guests will be gifted a $25 produce credit from Imperfect Produce as well to continue to fight food waste in Chicago.
All ticket proceeds will benefit The Children’s Miracle Network.
