CHICAGO’S REVOLUTION BREWING EXPANDS DISTRIBUTION INTO NEW JERSEY

MAY 1, 2017 – CHICAGO – Revolution Brewing, one of the fastest growing breweries in the nation, is expanding its distribution footprint into the state of New Jersey.

The largest independent craft brewery in Illinois will distribute its products through Peerless Beverage Company, Kramer Beverage, and Shore Point Distributing Company. Distribution in New Jersey will begin the week of May 1.

At Revolution, we brew a bunch of hoppy beers that people enjoy drinking, as well as some tasty seasonals.” said Jim Cibak, Revolution’s head brewer. We are really excited to be shipping kegs and cans of fresh Rev Brew from Chicago to the great state of New Jersey.”

The Garden State can expect to see a variety of Revolution beers, including Anti-Hero IPA, the brewery’s flagship India pale ale; Sun Crusher, a hoppy wheat ale that is its new seasonal; 1ZENUFF, its imperial IPA; the League of Heroes IPA variety pack; and the Deep Wood Series of barrel-aged beer, among many other unique brews.

The Chicago brewery improved its position in the 2016 Brewers Association’s list of top 50 craft brewing companies and is now the 46th largest craft brewery in the United States.

Revolution Brewing currently distributes in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Massachusetts, and New York, making New Jersey its 7th state of distribution.

About Peerless Beverage Company:

Peerless is a third generation family owned business since 1933. It all began at the height of The Great Depression. Prohibition was being replaced and the sale of beer made legal. Charles Salzman was selling Near Beer and Seltzer; while Jake Beim was bottling Crescent Soda. These two young immigrants realized there was an opportunity to sell beer and began doing so. Forward, thirty years later to 1963 their sons Rich Salzman and Norm Beim would merge their two companies to create Peerless Beverage Company. As Peerless heads into its 84th year, the third generation leadership is now led by Scott Beim and Chuck Salzman. Today Peerless Beverage Company is housed in a 250,000 square feet state-of-the-are warehouse space, selling more than 8 million cases of some of the beer market’s biggest brands. Ranking it one of the largest beer distribution centers in the state. Along with its people, cutting edge technology, insight and innovation Peerless provides the best quality products.
