For a change of pace, we dry-hopped our German-style Hefeweizen (“hefe” meaning yeast and “weizen”) with GR Mandarina hops. We used the same rate as we do in the Cross of Gold, so it won’t be over the top, but we thought the citrus/orange notes that the Mandarina bring to the table might go nicely with some of the "lemon zest" flavors that the yeast imparts on its own… This should add to the beer’s complexity, without sacrificing its summertime refreshment!
