A great playoff baseball wager resulted in this amazing collaboration brew. This IPA, brewed at Revolution Brewing with our friends from Anchor Brewing Co. , has a clean bitterness and is bursting with bright aromas and flavors of fresh citrus & stone fruits!
The brew started with 100% Pale Malt to achieve a deep golden color and toasty malt backbone. Apollo, El Dorado and Cascade hops were used in the brewhouse to achieve a crisp balanced bitterness and floral & citrus zest character.
We also dry hopped this beer with El Dorado and Crystal hop pellets. And as a show of respect to the traditional whole hop usage of the team at Anchor Brewing Co. we filled a secondary fermenter with 200 lbs of whole cascade and then transferred the beer in. It's a winner!
