God of War

This German style lager is similar in many aspects to Oktoberfest Biers. Our Marzen is brewed exclusively with German grains such as Pilsner, Vienna, Dark Munich, and Cara-munich to impart a rich toasty, candy like aroma without the finished beer being cloyingly sweet. The addition of a faint amount of dehusked dark malt contributes an amazing reddish hue to this beer. We used only one hop variety, German Tradition, in three separate additions in the brew kettle to achieve a very soft, balanced bitterness and yield a supremely drinkable beer! This is a great beer to celebrate the arrival of milder temperatures here in Chicago after the long cold winter!
