This golden-hued seasonal lager gets its color and rich malt character from the use of 50% Munich malt. We fermented it this year with the Bavarian lager strain, which helped it to ferment a bit drier, and extended cold maturation smooths out the full-bodied, honey-like maltiness. German Spalt hops provide a balanced bitterness, but take a back seat to the malt in this beer’s flavor profile.
