The Winter Woman Imperial Brown was aged in Heaven Hill and 4 Roses barrels. Having the name “Working Mom”, we felt it appropriate to age the brew in wood for a minimum of 9 months. It is also blended with some barrels aged 18 months as well. It is wonderfully complex – notes of the bourbon come through, married with chocolate, toffee, fruit, and vanilla from the wood. These flavors follow along to the palate, and additionally you will get some lingering hop bitterness and the alcohol warmth that you would expect from a beer this big.
