This American Pale Ale was hopped with Ahtanum all the way through for its citrus and floral flavor and aroma. It was brewed with a lower starting gravity (resulting in a lower alcohol brew) to be exceptionally drinkable. Being under 5% abv, some would refer to this as a “Session Pale Ale”- which would be correct (not a Session IPA)…We added some local raw honey for a twist, and also added some Weyermann CaraMalt, which is pale in color and adds ‘Honey-like’ notes to the finished pale ale.
