Bites & Brews: Deep Wood Food & Beer Pairing Event

Celebrate summer and join us in the Deep Wood! We’re throwing a big ole’ welcome back party for one of our most lauded and beloved barrel-aged beers. Ticket holders for this event will get the very first taste of VSOJ 2024 one week before its official release date.


The Bites & Brews event will feature food stations to pair with VSOJ, Cherry VSOJ, and Coconut Deth, as well as a couple of old favorites: Where Eagles Rare and DBVSOD. This is a casual, cocktail-style event to celebrate some of our favorite foods of summer and the first installment of the 2024 Deep Wood Season. Feel free to dress in your most fun summer party attire!


Our brewpub events team has curated a menu to complement the work of our cellar team. 5 oz pours of each beer will accompany a dish at each station.

*Pork Belly Burnt Ends and Pickled Peaches paired with VSOJ
*Cherry Glazed Yakitori paired with Cherry VSOJ
*Coconut Cream Pie Trifle paired with Coconut Deth

Curious about our barrel-aging processes and what makes this particular lineup the most exciting yet? Our barrel program manager, Marty Scott, and Brewmaster Jim Cibak will be on hand to chat all things Deep Wood with our guests. We’ll have a couple of other fun surprises in store as well.
