The Essen Haus and Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) are teaming up for Maifest 2019!This family-friendly spring festival has live music with an outdoor dance floor, grill food, an outdoor bier cart, a traditional maypole dance, games, a children’s activity area and an interactive DCHS booth. 

** Fill up those plates and bier steins, because 15% of event proceeds will be donated to Dane County Humane Society.**

GOODIES FROM THE GRILL (Noon-6pm):
Brats • burgers • footlong hotdogs • chicken sandwiches • pork steaks • German potato salad • hot soft pretzels

BIER CART (Noon-6pm):
Featuring Revolution Brewing as a part of Madison Craft Beer Week
• Maibock • Sun Crusher • Freedom of Speach • Mexican Lager • Cryo-Hero IPA• Every Day-Hero

LIVE MUSIC:
The Gary Beal Band — Polka (noon-3pm)
Copper Box — Americana & Bluesy Pop (3–6:30pm)

ACTIVITIES:
✓ Maypole Dance — taught & led by the Oak Apple Morris Dancers during the music break (around 3pm)
✓ Candy Guessing Contest — Guess how many pieces of candy are in the 1 liter boot. Closest guess wins the boot… and the candy, of course. *Winner announced after maypole dance. Must be present to win.
✓ Ring toss — ring a bottle, win a prize!
✓ Fishbowl toss carnival-style game — sink a ping pong ball in a prize fishbowl to win
✓ Kids’ Zone — coloring, crafts, bubbles, games, a bounce house + more to entertain the little ones
✓ Kentucky Derby Games — starting at 2pm (inside Come Back In Bar and Restaurant)
