Our favorite Barleywine returns alongside a tremendous treatment of Deth and a former variant’s graduation into the main Deep Wood lineup.
Straight Jacket is Straight Jacket. And that’s all we’ve really needed to say lately about our beloved English-style Barleywine. Oaky, compelling, and endlessly intriguing. This year’s is shaping up to be an all-timer.
Vanilla Deth takes a perfectly blended Imperial Oatmeal Stout and employs hand-split vanilla beans to deepen the wood-derived complexities.
Blackberry Finn is a new graduate to the Deep Wood Series after life as one of our most popular variants. It’s a fully double barreled beer that stands mighty against a staggering volume of unfermented blackberries. The result is regal enough to pour a spectacular purple.
As with recent releases, these beers will be sold via preorder on our webstore the Tuesday of the release week for pickups starting that Friday.
Curbside and walk-up pickups will be available, and the Taproom will be open with variants pouring.

Behold, our original barrel-aged Imperial Oatmeal Stout, Deth’s Tar, with hand-split whole vanilla beans. Flaked and malted oats lend a supremely silky body that belies the beer’s considerable strength. Pronounced vanilla flavor and aroma blends harmoniously with chocolaty caramel maltiness and American oak. Enjoy now or store cold.

Barleywine Ale Aged in Bourbon Barrels with Blackberries
This bemusing, bepurpled curiosity is the result of blending double bourbon barrel-aged dry English Barleywine and an intrepid volume of unfermented blackberries. Restrained malt sweetness, hefty tannins, vanilla-laden American oak, and sweet, tart blackberry combine to make an “extreme” beer which retains a decidedly playful accessibility. The public preorder for these beers will begin on our webstore starting Tuesday, November 16 for pickups starting Friday, November 19. Curbside and walk-up pickups begin Friday at noon, where the Taproom will be pouring the featured beers and exclusive draft variants. The Revolution Brewpub will also be pouring all three release beers when it opens at noon on Friday.

A: The Taproom opens at 12 p.m. – two hours earlier than the usual opening time. The Brewpub (2323 N. Milwaukee) will also be open at noon. - Q: Can I pick up my preorder at the Brewpub?
