- Willie Wee Heavy | 8.9% ABV
- Willie is officially a Scotch Ale 90’ (or 90 shillings) which refers to cost of the malted barley back in the day. Our version of this burly ale is a showcase of the wonderful specialty malts we have from all over the world! With 2‑row malt as the base, a combination of C- 60, Caramunich, Victory, Roasted Barley and Beachwood Smoked malt provide this ale with deep, complex layers of caramel flavor and aroma and a deep reddish brown hue. Reminiscent of a freshly torched crème brulee. Our English ale yeast and the Styrian Golding hops that we use in the brew kettle also infuse some dark fruity notes to mingle with the rich malty nose with an underlying hint of the smoked malt in the background to increase the overall complexity!
