CHICAGO (March 19, 2024) — Revolution Brewing, Chicago’s largest independent brewery, has partnered with 670 The Score to make Anti-Hero the Official IPA of Cubs Radio for the 2024 season. The move comes as Anti-Hero enters the baseball-themed months of The Franchise IPA campaign celebrating Chicago sports and local beer with limited-edition cans and sports-centered events.
“This is a natural fit for our brewery. We’ve been celebrating Chicago’s incredible sports culture and Anti-Hero’s spot as the #1 IPA in Illinois,” Revolution’s Chief Marketing Officer Doug Veliky said. “There’s nothing more iconic than a Cubs game with a cold beer, and we’re happy to be
able to help bring both to Cubs fans throughout Chicagoland.”
During every Cubs Radio Post-Game Show, Anti-Hero will be highlighted as the presenting sponsor for the Official Game Time, and also be featured within a number of 10-second recorded commercials during pre-game, in-game and post-game throughout the season.
Following a busy offseason, the Cubs will begin the season on the road against the defending champion Texas Rangers. They’ll return home on Monday, April 1 to face off with the Colorado Rockies. Fans can once again look forward to finding Anti-Hero at bars and restaurants around the Wrigleyville neighborhood throughout the 2024 season. Tune in all season long via 670 The Score and on the Audacy app to hear all of the action, and learn more about Anti-Hero, The Official IPA of Cubs Radio.
Anti-Hero®
India Pale Ale
Anti-Hero combines five classic U.S. hop varieties to marshal an uncompromising hop bomb with bold citrus, floral, and pine aromas. Flavor notes of grapefruit, lemon candy, and orange marmalade set the board for bracing bitterness that provides a reset for the next aromatic sip.
This uncompromising leader has stood the test of time and commands the title of #1 selling IPA in Illinois today. An emblematic and intrepid choice for those ambivalent protagonists who always come through in the end.
