On Wednesday, May 23, Bonkers Ale and Action Pants will be released at the Revolution Brewpub and Tap Room.
ABOUT BONKERS ALE:
This beer just happens to coincide with the 30th Anniversary of the Grandfather Craft Brewing here in Chicago. It is an English-style Bitter, brewed with Pale Ale, Wheat, and Caramel 60L malts, and a touch of Roasted Barley. It is a light-medium bodied brew, with a hint of malt sweetness, a touch of roast complexity, and a spicy hop character- a great beer for an extended session at the Pub… We actually had a number of former Goose Island brewers over to help us on brew day, where we reminisced a bit about the old days over a pint or 2…

ABOUT ACTION PANTS:
For our first ever Berliner Weisse, we used the second runnings from our Executive Order Wheatwine mash to craft this light-bodied, slightly tart, small beer.
